Lindsay Keating

Owen Brafford

Sarah Muellerleile

Evan Keane

In between their dark songs, Lindsay enjoys singing ridiculously silly songs at practice.  Well known for her east coast gesticulations, firey personality and big ass hair.

This is Sarah.  Sarah plays violin, often bastardizing Bach concertos (much to the chagrin of Lindsay).  She also enjoys making inappropriate comments and off color jokes.

Evan plays sweet drum beats with various percussion and supplies some bassy vocals.  Well known for his dapper facial hair, random acts of dancing and natural laugh track.

Owen enjoys dishing out deer-in-headlight looks while playing the same REM riff when there's a quiet moment.  Owen brings the weird and the technical skills.

Fate’s Palette was formed out of the ashes of our beloved bands, The Great Confinement and The Butcher's Bag.  In late 2011 Lindsay and Evan decided enough licks had been applied to our wounds and it was time to start fresh again.  Their shared love of art was to be their inspiration to their music and they recruited a few folks who were also passionate (if not downright obsessed) with this pursuit.  No lofty goal was held of bringing art to the club or bar scene, just a desire and curiosity to create music from painting.  Everyone has heard of art speaking to someone, but can it sing?  Of course it can.  Recruiting Sarah and eventually Owen (both of whom were ex-bandmates/art nerds), Fate’s Palette had attempted to do justice to the masterful works that inspire them.  Some have accused them of being pretentious, which, to be fair, they are.  Under the pretense of art though, Fate’s Palette would like to think that their music paints a picture of its own.
